In the Navy, when a wayward “S@!T-BAG Sailor” would go outside of their division and refuse to follow direct, lawful orders and regulations handed down by the command or divisional leadership, they were punished. You’re given a mission and directives and your job is to follow those orders. You don’t operate under your OFP (Own F@*#ing Program). Failure to follow a direct, lawful order is punishable under the UCMJ Code Article 92, and there was a high-potential of that sailor being punished either via an NJP (non-judicial punishment, aka Captain’s Mast) or a Courts Martial. Those same standards also fell upon the shoulders of leadership to uphold lawful orders and regulations in order to maintain good order and discipline. This type of accountability keeps (for the most part) rogue members from making decisions that could be life-threatening to their fellow sailors, and set standards for the leadership to be mindful when they issued orders in the first place. At the end of the day, however, leadership is held responsible for the behaviors and actions of their sailors. Through investigations, if the actions of those so-called rogue sailors endangered lives or disrupted good order and discipline, the leadership (and their staff) are removed and replaced post-haste.
In the White House, our leader, President Obama, with zero military experience, clearly does not understand this type of accountability. Our Commander in Chief’s out of control administration has been repeatedly operating under their OFP’s. Yet Americans, confused by the reports of the corporate media conglomerates, poorly advised of the tenets of our Constitution (they don’t teach that in schools any more), and (perhaps?) due to lack of time to really read and investigate on their own, stand by listening (and believing) the pandering rhetoric of this administration. But from whom does the President actually receive his directives and how accountable is he for the actions of his staff, really?
The President is supposed to be upheld to standards. The oath of office states:
“I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of the President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”
The President’s Job Description, as outlined by the Constitution’s Article II, Sections 2-3:
Section 2. The President shall be Commander in Chief of the Army and Navy of the United States, and of the Militia of the several States, when called into the actual Service of the United States; he may require the Opinion, in writing, of the principal Officer in each of the executive Departments, upon any Subject relating to the Duties of their respective Offices, and he shall have Power to grant Reprieves and Pardons for Offenses against the United States, except in Cases of Impeachment.
He shall have Power, by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, to make Treaties, provided two thirds of the Senators present concur; and he shall nominate, and by and with the Advice and Consent of the Senate, shall appoint Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls, Judges of the Supreme Court, and all other Officers of the United States, whose Appointments are not herein otherwise provided for, and which shall be established by Law: but the Congress may by Law vest the Appointment of such inferior Officers, as they think proper, in the President alone, in the Courts of Law or in the Heads of Departments.
The President shall have Power to fill up all Vacancies that may happen during the Recess of the Senate, by granting Commissions which shall expire at the End of their next Session.
SECTION 3. He shall from time to time give to the Congress Information of the State of the Union, and recommend to their Consideration such Measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient; he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper; he shall receive Ambassadors and other public Ministers; he shall take Care that the Laws be faithfully executed, and shall Commission all the Officers of the United States
The Office of the President and his appointed leadership are upheld to standards in Section 4:
SECTION 4. The President, Vice President and all civil Officers of the United States, shall be removed from Office on Impeachment for, and Conviction of, Treason, Bribery, or other high Crimes and Misdemeanors.
President Obama, either directly or indirectly through the actions of his staff, have consistently violated the rights of the People as outlined by the Constitution. As the following “scandals” have hit the headlines, with little accountability by the current administration, the public has turned a “blind eye” excusing these actions time and again:

American’s have a right to freedom – but also a responsibility to uphold leadership to the highest standards. By claiming that we are “too busy” to pay attention, read and learn, is doing a great disservice to ourselves, our children, and our Constitution. The President and his staff, regardless of what the media and his administration would like us to believe, ARE accountable to the People.
Read, learn and research, and then contact your local lawmakers and let them know: We Demand that the Office of the President be upheld with Integrity and Honor – not politics, games, deception, and their OFP.
Disclaimer: This is not a comparison of presidencies, nor an Obama vs. Bush (or Clinton, or Eisenhower…) article – so please keep that in mind you are reading. This is a study of the CURRENT administration’s actions, period.
