I majored in History, minored in Economics. I have a not-so-secret crush on Milton Friedman, and I’m a staunch feminist, capitalist and constitutionalist. I despise socialism to the core, but have spent the past year studying Marx and Engel, in an effort to understand their positions. I often dream of meeting Jefferson and Madison, and Ayn Rand; typically resulting in my waking to a feeling of absolute embarrassment at our current state of affairs-but hopeful that we will somehow educate each other on the meaning and significance of our Constitution.
My blog has a couple purposes: firstly, to stop clogging up my friends’ Facebook pages, and secondly, to give me a forum to discuss whatever strikes me as relevant, and learn other perspectives.
I’m not a Democrat. I’m not a Republican. I’m a Constitutionalist. There’s a difference. Please do not confuse my description as a Constitutionalist with membership in the “Constitution Party” as I am not a member of ANY fundamentalist religious party, and do not advocate that party in any way.
